Fixed Metal Braces
Fixed metal braces are one of the most common types of orthodontic treatments that we offer.
The brackets are attached to the front of the teeth and are connected with a very thin metal wire that applies gentle pressure to the teeth to help move them into a straighter position. Fixed metal braces are suitable for all ages and are often used for more complex cases, for example, severe overcrowding or crooked teeth.
Ceramic Fixed Braces
These are similar to the fixed metal braces, however, the brackets that are stuck to the teeth are made from a clear material that blends in with the natural colour of your teeth.
The main point of difference ceramic braces have is that they are much less visible than stainless steel braces, making them ideal for people who may not wish to have obvious braces.
